A weekend shaped by concentration, pressure, and resilience at Circuit Zolder during the Porsche Sprint Challenge Benelux.
Following HADECA Team and driver Ivan Dobik in his debut race weekend, the work moves between quiet paddock moments, preparation, recovery, and the intensity of the track — observing the atmosphere surrounding motorsport beyond the race itself.
After a heavy crash into the wall, the weekend became defined not only by competition, but by the persistence and collective effort required to continue. Against the odds, the weekend concluded with a podium finish — P3.
The story stopped being about lap times the moment the car hit the wall.
Friday was procedure — warmers on, data checked, the driver finding the circuit. Then the crash. I lowered the camera before I raised it; some moments belong to the team first. What followed was a near-silent, all-night rebuild under work lights, everyone with a task and no spare words.
By Sunday the car was back together and so, somehow, was the weekend. I photographed the podium from below, looking up — P3, against the odds. The series is really about that: what it costs to continue.
